Introduction

I use the same whole wheat pizza recipe I got off of Spark but since my hubby must have meat on his pizza this is what I came up with. I use the same whole wheat pizza recipe I got off of Spark but since my hubby must have meat on his pizza this is what I came up with.
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    Crust:
    2/3 cup water
    2 Tbsp olive oil
    3/8 tsp salt
    1 cup all-purpose flour
    1 cup whole wheat flour
    1 tsp yeast

    Toppings:
    1 1/2 cups pizza sauce (I don't use that much)
    1 1/2 cups part skim shredded mozzarella
    1 Tbsp olive oil
    1 tsp oregano
    1 link of italian sausage (casing removed, browned & crumbled)

Directions

Place crust ingredients in bread machine in order given. Make dough in bread machine following machine instructions.

Preheat oven to 450.

Brush baking pan (or pizza pan) with 1/2 Tbsp olive oil. Roll out dough and place on pan. Brush entire crust with remaining olive oil. Spread sauce. Top with cheese, oregano, & sausage.

Bake at 450 for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.

Makes 8 slices (on a pizza pan)
