Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

1 pound of lean ground turkey
    1 tsp Tabasco sauce
    1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 Tbsp soy sauce (low sodium works well!)
    1/2 tsp chili powder
    1/2 tsp ground cumin
    1/3 cup salsa
    1 large egg
1/3 cup bread crumbs (more or less may be added to ensure appropriate consistency for forming burger patties)

Directions

Combine turkey, Tobasco, Worcestershire, soy sauce, chili powder, ground cumin, salsa and egg in a large bowl. Stir until evenly mixed. Add bread crumbs and stir until combined. (More or less may be added to make the meat the right consistency for patties.)

Form the meat mixture into four evenly sized patties. Grill over medium high heat 7 to 10 minutes per side, or until done through.

Great served on whole wheat buns with light mayo, guacamole, or salsa and low fat cheese.

Makes 4 quarter pound burgers.
