Number of Servings: 3

Ingredients

    2 cup apples (or 4 apples) cut into small pieces
    1/4 cup water
    Splenda to taste
    Cinnamon to taste

Directions

Peel and core the apples. Slice apples into small pieces (no bigger than 1 inch cubes). Place into a glass dish to microwave. Add a small amount of water (1/4 cup). Microwave for 8-10 minutes, stiring once. If necessary, microwave for additional intervals of 2 minutes until apples are tender and easy to mash into applesauce. Add splenda and cinnamon to taste.
Makes approximately 3 half cup servings.
Yield may vary depending on how many apples are used.
