Ingredients
-
1 bag of plain microwave popcorn, that yeilds about 4 cups popped (I use Safeway's O Organics brand)
2 TBSP Organic maple syrup (I use trader joe's grade A or B)
1 TBSP organic butter, salted
1 dash of organic sea salt
Directions
pop the bag of popcorn in the microwave. Remove and carefully pour out into a large bowl.
In a small microwaveable dish, heat the syrup and butter for about 20 seconds, or until melted
Remove and mix in the dash of salt.
Pour syrup/salt/butter mixture evenly over popcorn. Use salad servers to toss the popcorn until it is well coated.
You can add a dash of vanilla extract to the syrup mixture as well, before heating.
YUM! Nutritional info is for 2 servings, but you could divide this into smaller portions for a lesser calorie snack.
