Introduction
This has got to be one of the best desserts I have ever made....it tastes so good you will believe you are cheating where as in fact, it contains only minimal fat and carbs. I have this as a bed time snack to take the edge of my sweet tooth but any time of day would be good too :-) This has got to be one of the best desserts I have ever made....it tastes so good you will believe you are cheating where as in fact, it contains only minimal fat and carbs. Ingredients
-
1 x 23g Hartley's Sugar Free Strawberry Jelly Sachet Mix
2 x 150g Total 0% Fat Free Greek Strained Yogurt Pots
2 x 30g Scoops Strawberry Protein Powder
This will make your basic mousse...obviously you can go for a different flavour jelly or protein if you prefer but I have found this combo to be the best so far!
Directions
Makes 4 good size portions...
Dissolve the jelly mix in 285ml (half pint) of boiling water and the top up with a further 285ml of cold water to make a pint. Refrigerate for around one hour or until almost set.
Place jelly, yogurt and protein powder into a large mixing bowl and whist until fluffy.
Pour into 4 individual serving bowls and refrigerate for around 30 minutes or until cool and set.
Enjoy as is, or serve with a dusting of ground chocolate and mixed berries.............
