Introduction

Should be good for those on a gluten free diet, as well as those who have Interstitial Cystiitis and/ or Endometriosis. Lactose free as well

I used Agave Nectar instead of the sugar/ Splenda. I made this with 1 lb frozen peaches instead of the apples, could've added another 1lb of the peaches! Could also use berries.

Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    6 peeled apples

    1/2 cup Sugar, Splenda or Agave Nectar
    2 TBSP water

    4 TBSP butter or margarine
    1 cup quick rolled oats (GF)
    1/2 cup brown sugar, Splenda Brown Sugar Blend, or Agave Nectar
    1/2 tsp cinnamon
    1/2 cup nuts (optional, I didn't count this in the nutrition data, as I can't have most nuts)
    1 tsp grated lemon peel (I used 1 tsp lemon juice)

Directions

1. Slice & spread apples in a greased 8x8 in baking pan.
2. Sprinkle with next 2 ingredients
3. Mix & spread reamining ingredients over apples.
4. Bake at 350d for 45 min or until tender.
