Introduction

This recipe was made by Matt and Justin for Life Skills class at West Geauga Middle School. The original recipe called for the balls to be fried in oil, but they're great if you just bake them and that makes them healthier too! Ingredients

    1 egg
    0.5 tsp salt
    0.5 tsp nutmeg
    3 T baking powder
    1 1/2 cups warm water
    4 cups all purpose flour
    1.5 cups sugar

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Combine egg, salt, baking powder, nutmeg and sugar. Stir with a wooden spoon. (when we used an electric mixer, the batter got soupy)
Add water and stir.
Fold in flour so dough is stiff and slightly sticky.
Clean and flour hands. Roll dough in tiny balls the size of pecans.
Bake at 350 degrees for about 25 minutes.
