    1 1/2 tsp Olive Oil
    1 Tbs Garlic, minced
    28 oz Can chopped Tomatoes
    2 Tbs Tomato Paste
    2 tsp Oregano, fresh
    1 tsp Thyme leaves, fresh
    salt and pepper to taste


In a large sauce pan, heat oil over med heat; add garlic and saute 2 minutes; add tomatoes, paste, oregano and Thyme, and salt and pepper. Reduce heat to low and simmer uncovered for 30 minutes. Cool sauce to room temperature before using on pizza.

  • Amazing!! I did not have fresh oregano or thyme so I used dried - still amazing flavor! I used this in Bubble UP Pizza (submitted by Clardys on and took pictures placing the final product on my blog. I have extra of this alread made up and in the freezer for the next pizza night! - 1/1/10
