This tomato salsa bursts with flavour, and is low fat, low calorie. This tomato salsa bursts with flavour, and is low fat, low calorie.
Number of Servings: 4


    1 1/2 cup of fresh diced tomatoes or 1 can of finely diced tomatoes
    2 Jalapeno Pepper, finely diced and seeded
    2 tbsp Cilantro (fresh or dried)
    1/4 cup Raw Onion - white or red (or a combination)
    Garlic, 1 clove, diced or crushed
    Juice from 1/2 small lime
    1/2 tbsp. Pure Olive Oil
    Dash of fresh ground black pepper
    Dash of Salt (omit if using canned tomatoes)


Combine ingredients in a medium sized bowl and mix well.

Cover and refrigerate for 8 - 12 hours before serving.

Makes approximately 4 servings.
Serving Size = 1/3 Cup

*For the purposes of nutritional information, fresh diced tomatoes have been used.
