Ingredients

    4 cups thinly sliced potatoes
    1/4 cup flour
    1 teaspoon salt
    1 teaspoon pepper
    1 large onion thinly sliced
    1 tablespoon butter
    1 cups milk
    ½ cup reduced fat sour cream
    4 strips of bacon fried and chopped
    4-5 chicken breasts, skinless
    ¼ teaspoon paprika or chili powder
    2 cups grated cheese

Directions

Season the raw chicken with whatever spices, & herbs are your favorite.
Grease a casserole dish and place a layer of sliced potatoes on the bottom. Combine the flour, salt and pepper and sprinkle 1/2 over the potatoes.
Add layer of chicken, and the bacon.
Add the onion slices, dot butter and add another layer of potatoes, sprinkle with the rest of the flour, salt & pepper.
Mix the milk and cream, then pour over the other ingredients. Sprinkle with cheese. Sprinkle with paprika or chili powder.

Bake at 350-375 for 90 minutes or until the chicken is done.

    I used chicken bacon instead to cut down on the fat . I also added celery and used cottage cheese instead of sour cream. - 7/25/10
