Instant, Quick, and Regular Oats Cereal, 3 cup, dry, yields (remove)
*Corn Oil, 0.25 cup (remove)
Honey, 0.5 cup (remove)
*Sesame Seeds, 0.25 cup (remove)
Coconut, raw, 0.5 cup, shredded (remove)
Raisins, 1 cup (not packed)
Salt, 1 dash
Directions
Preheat oven to 250.
Mix salt, oil and honey. Mix oats, sesame seeds and coconut in a large bowl. Pour liquid mixture over dry mixture and combine well.
Pour mixture onto a large, lined baking sheet and bake for one hour to one hour, twenty minutes, stirring every twenty minutes to toast evenly.
Remove from oven (mixture should not brown too much), stir in raisins and allow to cool before packaging.
This recipe makes 201/4 cup servings. A 1/4 cup of granola is perfect to top yogurt or to snack on. 1/2 cup with 1/2 cup of skim milk is perfect for breakfast.
