    8 ounces whole wheat penne pasta
    1 pound italian turkey sausage (hot or sweet)
    1 each: red, green, yellow bell pepper cut into 1/4 inch strips
    1/2 cup chopped onion
    2 garlic cloves pressed
    1 can diced tomatoes in sauce
    1 can tomato sauce
    2 tsp italian seasoning mix
    1/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated


1. Cook pasta according to directions, drain, and keep warm
2. cook sausage in skillet over medium-high heat 15 minutes or until sausage is browned and no longer pink, turning occassionally.
3. Remove sausage from skillet and cut diagnolly into 1 inch pieces.
4. In same skillet cook bell peppers, onion, and garlic for 6-8 minutes, or until peppers are tender, stir occassionally.
5. Add sausage, tomatoes, sauce, and seasoning mix. Cook and stir 1-2 minutes or until heated.
6. Place pasta in large bowl, pour sauce over top, tossing to coat. Then sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
