Introduction
These tender pork patties are sweet and savory. Excellent with mashed potatoes (seasoned with a hint of sage) and pan gravy to carry the flavors through the entire course. Ingredients

1 lb. ground pork
1 medium potato
1 small apple
1 small onion
1tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
1tsp. sage, ground
If desired, also include a second small apple and 16 sage leaves for garnish. These are not figured in nutritional information.
Directions
Peel potato, chop and boil or steam until soft. Mash potato.
Grate (fine) apple and onion.
Mix salt, pepper, sage, apple, onion, and potato into ground pork.
Form into eight patties and fry in oil.
If desired, in a separate pan fry additional apple (cored and quartered) in a small amount of oil until softened. Fry sage leaves until crispy. Use two sage leaves and apple slices to garnish patties.
