Ingredients:
Jimmy Dean All Natural Regular Pork Sausage, 32 oz
*Del Monte Petite Cut Diced Tomatoes, 1.875 cup
*Onion (Raw), 6 oz
Tomato Paste, 1.5 cup
Bush's Pinto Beans, 1.875 cup
Beans, black, .9375 cup
Chili powder, 3 tbsp
Canola Oil, 2 tbsp
Directions
Pre-heat stock pot on medium-high heat.
Dice onion and carmelize in stock pot.
Add sausage to stock pot.
Brown sausage.
Add diced tomatoes, tomato paste and beans to pot.
Stir tomato paste into mixture.
Add chili powder and stir into mixture.
Lower heat to simmer/low setting.
Simmer 30-45 minutes.
Serve hot.
Makes 8 servings.
Also good with diced bell peppers added about 10 minutes before serving.
Also good with 1 lb sirloin tips diced and browned along with the sausage and onions.
Very good after a few days in the refrigerator or freezer.
