Introduction

Ingredients

16 oz. Beef, ground, uncooked, lean 93/7
16 oz. Ziti pasta, uncooked
1 Egg, large
15 oz. Ricotta Cheese, part skim
2 c. Mozzarella Cheese, finely shredded
1/4 c. Parmesan Cheese, grated
6 c. Prego Fresh Mushroom Italian Sauce
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 F.
Cook pasta according to package directions without added fat or salt.
While cooking pasta, brown ground beef in separate pan until fully cooked; drain off excess fat.
In large mixing bowl, combine egg, parmesan cheese, ricotta cheese, and only 1 cup of mozzarella cheese. Add cooked and drained ground beef. Stir together. Stir in only 3 cups of Prego sauce.
Once pasta is cooked, drain and add to mixture in bowl. Stir thoroughly. Spread evenly in 13x9 baking dish. Top with remaining 3 cups of Prego sauce, being sure to spread over all noodles to prevent them from drying out. Sprinkle remaining 1 cup of mozzarella cheese. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
