Ingredients

    1 lb hamburger
    1 lb pork sausage
1 sm head of cabbage shredded
    8 oz monterey jack cheese
    8 oz cheddar cheese
1 bag Texas frozen rolls (24)

Directions

Put the rolls out to thaw about an hour and a half before you plan to make the recipe. Thaw them just enough to be able to spread them on a plate. Brown the hamburger and sausage and drain the grease. Shred the cabbage, or you can buy it shredded and boil it enough to cook it a little. I buy the shredded and about 5 to 10 minutes before I take the meat off the stove I throw the cabbage in and let them cook together and then drain the grease. Spread a roll on a plate as thin as you can and put a handful of mixed grated cheeses on the roll and press in a little, then put as much meat mixture as you can fit and then pull the dough together and pinch to seal it and put it on a cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for about 15 minutes till they are golden brown. I take a stick of butter and spread it on top of the hot roll when I take it out of the oven.
