Introduction

After reading many recipes for teriyaki marinade on the internet, I made this recipe because I had all these ingredients in my cupboard. Sodium can be lowered by using now sodium soy sauce or Tamari. After reading many recipes for teriyaki marinade on the internet, I made this recipe because I had all these ingredients in my cupboard. Sodium can be lowered by using now sodium soy sauce or Tamari.
Number of Servings: 18

Ingredients

    1 cup soy sauce
    8 oz unsweetened crushed pineapple w/juice
    2 Tbsp brown sugar
    2 Tbsp rice vinegar
    ½ tsp garlic clove minced
    ¼ tsp. Ginger, ground

Directions

Put all ingredients in blender. Blend on liquefy setting 30 seconds.
Place marinade in Plastic bag or glass container.
Marinate 4-6 pieces of chicken for 2 hours.
Makes 18 2 Tbsp. servings (I estimate that 2 Tbsp. remain on chicken) discard remaining marinade.
