Introduction

A holiday treat for the primal/paleo family! A holiday treat for the primal/paleo family!
Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

    80g dried apricots

    80g walnuts

    1t vanilla essence

Optional - 1T raw cacao powder

    Optional - 1T dessicated coconut

Directions

This is the easiest recipe I've ever invented, yet it doesn't compromise on taste! No need to add sweetener - the tang of the apricots is plenty for even the most die-hard sweet-tooth!

Combine all ingredients in a blender. (Optional - for a chocolaty twist, add cacao powder here)

Blend.

Roll mixture until balls using hands. (Optional - roll balls in coconut for a snowy finish).

Chill until needed.

Makes 12 teaspoon-sized balls. Perfect for a light dessert.

You may have just saved my life. having gone off of sugar and flour and loving to have "tea" in the afternoon with treats, I was struggling to find recipes that would fill the bill. This one will for sure. Cant wait to make them tomorrow. - 9/2/19
