Ingredients

2 slices of Nature's Own Butterbread
    1 large egg
1/4 cup Lactaid Fat Free Milk
    1 dash salt
2 tbsp H.T. Traders Grade A Maple Syrup
    1 tsp powdered sugar

Note: This recipe tastes even better if you use real French bread.

Directions

1. Set pan to 250 degrees Fahrenheit.
2. Beat together egg, milk, and salt in a medium bowl.
3. Cut bread into triangle-shaped halves.
4. Place bread halves one at a time into egg mixture. Let the bread soak up the mixture, about 7 seconds for each side.
5. Place soaked bread onto hot pan. Flip occassionally.
6. Cook on pan until toast is golden brown and firm. Put on plate.
7. Heat maple syrup in microwave for 15-30 seconds.
8. Pour syrup onto french toast.
9. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and enjoy!
