Introduction

Super high in vitamins and minerals, plus protein - just add ice cubes and crush! It sounds gross, but you really cannot taste the veggies. :) Plus it turns out an awesome shade of green - try freezing in a popsicle tray for fun hot weather treats for your little ones! Ingredients

Contains: protein powder, skim milk, spinach leaves (fresh or frozen, but not the frozen chopped stuff), broccoli, frozen unsweetened strawberries, frozen unsweetened blueberries, one medium banana! You can also add yogurt in place of the milk (or use soy/rice/almond milk for a vegan but higher calorie version!)

Directions

Put whole spinach leaves, broccoli, 1 cup of milk, and ice cubes into blender. Pulse to blend. Add chopped banana, slightly thawed frozen fruits, and remaining milk. Blend to a gorgeous blue-green smoothie that's great for you! (note: rinse blender immediately to avoid a tough mess later. If making portions to refrigerate over several days, do not add ice; may separate and brown but is good to eat for a day or two after. You can also freeze the mixture in a popsicle tray for a sweet green treat!)
