Ingredients

    1 small apple, peeled, cored and sliced
    1Tbls plus 1 tsp Tbls margarine
    2 Tbls brown sugar, packed
    1 Tbls plus 1 tsp whole wheat flour (white is ok)
    1/2 tsp ground cinnamon (or to taste)

Directions

Place apple slices in a small microwavable bowl. In a separate bowl, melt margarine in microwave, and mix in brown sugar, oats, flour and cinnamon. Sprinkle topping on apples. Cook on high power in microwave for 2 minutes or until apples are tender.

Makes 1 serving.

    microwave would not make a crisp. I would suggest putting it in the toaster oven at 350deg for about 10 min.
    I also enjoy oats in my crisp:)

    tastes delicious! but the "crisp" doesn't get crispy at all even after additional time in the microwave. - 10/26/10
