Introduction

Refrigerated treats, sweet, full of good 'stuff' to take the edge off of a sweet tooth. Refrigerated treats, sweet, full of good 'stuff' to take the edge off of a sweet tooth.
Number of Servings: 60

Ingredients

    2 cups peanut butter
    1 cup honey
    1/2 cup powdered milk
    1/2 cup sunflower nuts (unsalted)
    3 cups Rice Krispies
    optional: coconut flakes

Directions

Mix together well in a large bowl: peanut butter, honey, powdered milk, sunflower nuts.
Add rice krispies and mix.
Use small spoonful, shape into balls and roll in crushed rice krispies or coconut. Makes 60 balls.
Regrigerate.

    I make something very similar to these without the rice krispies and add flax seed, protein powder and dark chocolate chips. They are better than a granola bar! - 1/15/10

    I make this all the time with out nut and rice krispies. great just before my morning workout. Also great camping. Boy scouts use this all the time.
    For the holidays- I dipped in chocolate and gave as gifts. friends wanted more.
