    Beans, great northern, 2 1/3 c. dry
    Onions, raw, 1 cup, chopped
    Molasses, 1/2 cup
    Brown Sugar,1/4 c. packed
    Catsup, .5 cup
    dry mustard, 1 tsp
    Salt, 1/2 tsp
    Pepper, black, 1/4 tsp
    Hillshire Farm Beef Smoked Sausage, 7 oz


Rinse beans. In a large dutch oven combine beans and 8 cups water. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low, cover and simmer 2 minutes. Remove from heat and let soak 1 hour (or skip the simmer step and let soak overnight).

Drain and rinse beans. Return to pot and stire in 8 cups fresh water. Bring to boil, reduce heat. Simmer, covered for 1 hour. Drain beans, reserving liquid.

In a covered casserole dish combine beans, onion, 1 cup reserved bean liquid, molasses, brown sugar, catsup, dry mustard, salt and pepper.

Bake, covered, in 300* oven about 2 hours. add sliced smoked beef sausage and continue to cook another 30 minutes. Add additional reserved bean liquid as necessary.
