Introduction
These non meat burgers fooled my husband! He loved them! I'm not a fan of mushrooms, but I LOVED these! They're especially good on a pretzel roll. These non meat burgers fooled my husband! Ingredients

1/2 c uncooked brown rice
1/2 cup uncooked bulgar
1 tbsp mrs. dash
1/4 tsp poultry seasoning
2 c water
2 c FINELY chopped fresh mushrooms
3/4 c old fashioned oats
1 c part skim mozzarella, shredded
1/4 c reduced fat cheddar cheese, shredded
1/3 c finely chopped onion
1/2 c fat free cottage cheese
1/4 cup
egg substitute
2 tbsp minced fresh parsley or 1 tbsp dried parsley
1 tsp sea salt
1/2 tsp dried basil
1/8 tsp celery seed
3 tsp canola oil, divided
Directions
1. Combine first 5 ingredients in saucepan, bring to boil. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 30 minutes. Remove from heat and cool. Transfer to bowl and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
2. Combine next 5 ingredients in a large bowl. With a hand blender or food processor mix cottage cheese and egg sub until smooth. Add mixture to mushroom and oat mix. Stir in parsley, salt,basil, celery seed, and chilled rice mixture. Shape 1/2 cupfuls into patties.
3. In a large non stick skillet, cook four patties in 1 tsp of oil for 3-5 minutes on each side or until brown. Repeat with remaining patties and oil.
Serve on rolls with lettuce and tomato.
