Introduction

Maybe you don't care for puffed wheat, I prefer Cheerios and almonds! Maybe you don't care for puffed wheat, I prefer Cheerios and almonds!
Number of Servings: 24

Ingredients

    1 tsp. almond extract
    1/4 c. coconut oil
    1/2 c. honey
    1/2 c. whole psyllium husks
    1/3 c. Kellogg's All Brand Buds
    1 c. brown rice syrup
    1 c. slivered almonds
    7 c. Cheerios cereal

Directions

1) Melt coconut oil over medium heat.

2) Add syrup & honey and bring to a boil for 3 minutes. Mixture will bubble, so give it a pan with a little bit of room.

3) Toss together dry ingredients in a bowl with enough room to mix the ingredients comfortably.

4) Add the almond extract to the hot syrups and mix well. Pour slowly over the dry mix as you toss with a spatula.

5) When the syrup is fully added, mix until the recipe looks uniform and press into a greased 9"x12" cake pan.

6) Allow to cool and set before cutting into 24 1"x4.5" bars.
