Ingredients

    CRUST
    8 oz shredded cheddar cheese
    4 oz cream cheese, softened
    1/3 cup half and half
    2 medium eggs
    1/2 teaspoon taco seasoning

    TOPPING
    1 lb extra lean ground beef
    3 tsp taco seasoning
    1/4 cup hunts tomato sauce, low sodium
    4 oz chopped green chiles
    8 oz shredded cheddar cheese

Directions

CRUST
1. Beat the cream cheese and eggs until smooth;
2. Add the cream and seasoning
3. Grease a 9x13 baking dish; spread cheddar cheese over the bottom;
4. Pour in egg mixture as evenly as possible;
5. Bake at 375, 25-30 minutes.
6. Let stand 5 minutes before adding topping.
TOPPING
1. Brown the beef and drain
2. Stir in the seasoning, tomato sauce and chiles
3. Spread over the crust
4. Top with remaining shredded cheese
5. Reduce oven to 350 and bake another 20 minute or so until hot and bubbly.
6. Cut into 8 equal servings and plate
7. Add 1 Tbs to each of the 8 servings
6. Add toppings but remember this will increase your stats.

    Very tasty and filling! I used ground turkey breast instead of beef to bring the calories down a bit, and it turned out wonderful! Will definitely be making this on a regular basis :)

    I am making this as I am writing. There is a lot of cheese in this. And a whopping 10 Weight Watchers points. May have to half my serving so I don't go over. - 3/27/13
