Ingredients

    1 1/4 C Whole wheat flour
    1/3 C Brown sugar
    1/4 t Baking soda
    1/4 t Ground cloves
    1/4 t Ground cinnamon
    1 C Buttermilk
    2 T Vegetable oil
    1 C Oat bran
    2 1/2 t Baking powder
    1/4 t salt
    2 Egg whites
    3/4 C Grated apple
    1/2 C Chopped walnuts

Directions

Mix all dry ingredients in a large bowl. Mix wet ingredients except apple in small bowl.

Combine wet and dry ingredients. Fold in apple. Put 1/4 C mix in muffin cups. Bake in 375 F oven for 18-20 minutes or until toothpick inserted in middle of muttin comes out clean. Cool then serve.
