    2 lbs Beef (tips, sirloin, etc) cut into 1" squares
    2 onions cut into eights
    3 carrots cut into 1" sections
    2 cups sliced mushrooms
    4 potatoes sliced
    1 cup red wine
    1 3/4 cup favorite gluten free tomato sauce
    1 tsp salt
    1 tsp pepper
    1 tbsp corn starch (or arrowroot)
    1 1/2 cups warm water
    pinch red peper


Pre heat oven to 265.
Add meat to bottom of a large stock pot.
Add the carrots, mushrooms, onions and potatoes
Pour the tomato sauce over the top
Add minced garlic.
Add the salt and pepper.

In a separate dish, combine the warm water and corn starch, stir until the corn starch dissolves. Pour the cornstarch solution into the stock pot.
Add the wine over the entire mixture.
Stir once to spread the liquids, but leave the layering in tact.

Place stock pot in oven at 265 for 4-5 hours or in a 300 oven for 3 1/2 - 4 hours.
