Love these & they are easy to make "lighter". I use reduced fat crescent rolls, less butter, splenda & Diet Mt. Dew. Always a huge hit!! - 3/1/10

  • Our family had this for dessert last was awesome! I had them before but never made them, our 9 year old helped make them. Absolutely delicious! All it was missing was vanilla ice cream :) - 5/20/12

  • They're even good with margerine in a pinch, and I used diet squirt, which is what I had on hand. YUM - FABULOUS!!! - 9/9/11

  • My mom used to peel the apples, cut them in half, and core them. FIll the center with some delicious brown sugar and cinnamon, and who knows what else, then wrap them in homemade pie dough, and bake them in the oven. We would then put them in a bowl with milk and sugar, still hot out of the oven! - 10/10/10

  • I <3 Ree Drummond (Pioneer Woman)! =) I have been avoiding her cooking section on her blog, but this is a favorite of mine!
I like the lighter changes in comments! Making tonight for a potluck- prob'ly won't eat it myself though- trying to be good! - 5/12/10
