Ingredients

1 1-pound bag of sauerkraut, rinsed
8 small fingerling of red-skined potatoes, halved if large
1 Tbs olive oil
12 oz of turkey kielbasa cut into 2 inch pieces
1 6oz smoked pork chop, trimmed and sliced
1 large onion, chopped
2 garlic cloves, smashed
1 tsp coriander seeds, crushed
1 tsp juniper berries, crushed
1 apple, grated
1 cup white wine
2 Tbs chopped fresh parsley
Directions
Soak the sauerkraut in a bowl of warm water. Covr the potatoes with water in a small saucepan and simmer over medium heat until tender about 10 minutes. Drain.
Meanwhile, pre heat the oven to 375. Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium-high heat. Prick the sausages with a fork and add to the pot along with the pork; cook until browned on one ide about 4 minutes. Turn the meats and add the onion, garlic, coriander, juniper berries, and pepper to taste. Cook until the onion is golden brown, about six minutes. Add the apple and cook two more minutes.
Drain the sauerkraut. Put in the bottom of casserole dish. Pour wine over sauerkraut. Put sausage mixture and potatoes over sauerkraut and bury in sauerkraut. cover casserole with foil. Put in oven and bake for 30 minutes. Then remove cover and cook for another 30 minutes. Let stand for 10 minutes covered before serving.
