Ingredients

    1 Cup Crisp Lettuce such as Bib or Boston
    1 Firm Avocado (not soft), diced
    1 Tomatillo, diced
    Sweet fruit (pictured is 5 medium strawberries. Raspberry has more Fiber)
    1 TBSP Lemon Juice Concentrate (real squeezed lemon can be used)
    1 Serving Unsalted Sunflower Seeds (No Sodium, organic)

Directions

Makes 1 Large Salad that can be split between 2 people.

Clean all of fruits and vegetables.

Make a bed of lettuce. Dice the firm avocado and the tomatillo, toss on bed of lettuce. If sweet fruit is large like jumbo strawberries, then dice. Toss sweet fruit on bed of lettuce.

Dash lemon juice over the top of salad particularly the avocado as citric acid keeps avocado fresh a little longer.

Toss unsalted sunflower seeds on to the salad.

All of the flavors balance one another out. Meal is a heart friendly recipe with the good fats that help the heart. Recipe is a good source of fiber, especially if you use raspberries. This recipe also has a helping of protein.
