Introduction

A healthy low fat omelet that's yummy and easy. A healthy low fat omelet that's yummy and easy.
Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

    1 oz ham chopped
    2 tbsp chopped onion
    1.5 oz low fat cheddar cheese grated
    1 large egg
    2 large egg whites
    1/4c nonfat milk
    1 spray of cooking spray

Directions

Turn oven on to broil. Adjust shelf accordingly.
In a non-stick oven proof small fry pan spray with cooking spray.
On medium high heat saute onions and ham until onions softened. While onions and ham are cooking, beat eggs,milk and pepper together.
Pour egg mixture into pan and with a heat proof firm spatula stir until starting to thicken- this will make it fluffy.
Sprinkle cheese on top and place pan in the oven.
Will take about 2 min to cook top of egg and melt cheese.
Remove pan, loosen omelet, then tilt pan, slide one side of omelet on to plate then fold the other side on top.
Enjoy!
