Introduction

A filling cheesy mexican casserole. A filling cheesy mexican casserole.
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    1 lb extra lean ground beef
    1 box Velveeta 2% Milk Shells & Cheese
    1 package taco seasoning
    3/4 cup water
    2 cups salsa
    1 cup reduced fat shredded mexican cheese

Directions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Prepare shells and cheese as directed. Brown ground beef & drain fat. Mix ground beef with taco seasoning and 3/4 cup water. Place half of the shells and cheese in a 2 quart casserole dish. Top with the ground beef mixture, then the remaining shells and cheese. Bake covered for 15 minutes. Remove from oven. Top with salsa and shredded cheese. Bake uncovered for another 5 minutes or until cheese is melted. Makes 6 one cup servings.
