Ingredients

    1 to 1.5 lb 80/20 ground beef
    1 large green bell pepper, diced
    1 large red bell pepper, diced
    1 medium spanish onion, diced
    15.5 oz can kidney beans
    28 oz crushed tomato
    28 oz petite diced tomato
    1 Tbsp chili powder (adjust to taste)
    1/2 Tbsp salt
    3/4 tsp ground black pepper
    1/2 tsp onion powder
    1/2 tsp garlic powder
    1/4 tsp dried oregano
    1/4 tsp dried basil
    1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)

Directions

Brown ground beef. Drain fat if desired. Add peppers, onion, beans, tomatoes, seasonings, and simmer for at least 2 hours (up to 4), stirring occasionally.
