Introduction
Nothing beats a great homemade tomato sauce!Serve over Pasta or use in any recipe instead of canned tomato sauce. I like to put this through the food processor, and use as pizza sauce! Nothing beats a great homemade tomato sauce!

Ingredients

1 1/2 tsp - Extra-Virgin Olive Oil
3 cloves -Garlic, minced
2 14.5-ounce cans - Diced Tomatoes, drained
4 tbsp - Basil, chopped
3 tsp - Splenda
1/4 cup - Brandy
Salt, Pepper & Onion Powder to taste
Italian Seasoning Mix to taste (optional)
Directions
1) Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium low heat. Add garlic and and onions, sauté until softened, about 4 minutes. Stir in tomatoes, basil and splenda. Simmer, uncovered, until sauce has thickened slightly, about 15 minutes.
2) Stir in brandy and season with salt, pepper onion powder, and italian seasoning mix. Simmer for about 5 more minutes till alcohol cooks off.
Serving size: 1/2 cup
