Ingredients

    Smart Balance Buttery Spread, 8 tbsp (melted)
    Granulated Sugar, 1 cup
    Brown Sugar, 1 cup, packed
    Egg, fresh, 2 large
    Applesauce, unsweetened, .75 cup
    Jello Instant Pudding Chocolate, 3 cup
    Milk, 1%, .0625 cup
    Self Rising Flour, 1.5 cup

    Icing:
    Nestle Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips, 8 tbsp
    1 teaspoon milk

Directions

Mix sugar, butter, eggs and applesauce. Add flour and pudding mix and milk. Pour into 8 inch round and bake at 350 for 50 minutes. Check for doneness with a toothpick.

For icing, melt chocolate chips in microwave. Add one spoon of icing powdered sugar at a a time. Add a teaspoon or two of warm milk to thin icing. Blend well and pour over cooled cake.
