Introduction

Ingredients

    1 lb thin spagetti noodles

    sauce ingredients
    2 tsp sesame oil
    2 garlic cloves, peeled
    2 tsp ground ginger
    1/2 c smooth peanut butter- reduced fat
    1/4 c soy sauce
    2 TBS brown sugar
    1 TBS rice vinegar
    3/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
    1/2 C hot water

    3 green onions, chopped

    Shrimp and seasoning ingredients:
    32 or so large frozen de veined cooked shrimp(5 shrimp per person)
    1TBS extra virgin olive oil
    2 TBS honey
    1 tsp ground ginger
    1/2 tsp garlic powder
    1 TBS Soy sauce

    1TBS Sesame seeds

    Nutrition is with regular soy sauce so if you use lower sodium it will help with sodium content.

Directions

Boil water for Pasta. Once it is ready, add pasta and cook per package instructions 8-10 min. While pasta is cooking, cut up green onions and set aside.

If using frozen shrimp, put in collander under cold running water to thaw for about 5 min.
In a blender- add in garlic cloves and pulse until fine. Add in ginger and soy sauce, rice vinegar, red pepper flakes, peanut butter, brown sugar, sesame oil lastly hot water until sauce is mixed. Set aside.

Blot shrimp dry with paper towel, toss Shrimp with honey, ginger, garlic powder, and soy sauce. Add 1 TBS extra vigin olive oil to skillet- saute pan and once hot, add shrimp and cook just until done. Pasta should be done by now. Drain pasta in collander and put back into a bowl and then pour sauce over it and mix in.

Serve each person a cup of pasta (sauce is mixed in it), top with 5 shrimp and then sprinkle on the green onions and sesame seeds.
