Ingredients

    2 lbs. Lean Ground Beef
    1 cup fine, dry breadcrumbs
    1 (1.4 ounce) envelope onion soup mix
    3 large eggs
    1 (14.5 oz.) can sauerkraut, drained
    1 (16 oz) can whole-berry cranberry sauce
    1 (12 oz) bottle chili sauce
    1/2 cup water
    1 cup firmly packed light brown sugar

Directions

Combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion soup mix, and eggs in large bowl; stir until blended. Shape into 1 inch meatballs. Place meatballs in a greased 13 x 9 inch baking dish.
Stir together sauerkraut and remaining 4 ingredients. Spoon over meatballs.
Bake, uncovered , at 450 degrees for 25 minutes.
Yield: 3 dozen (12 servings)
