Ingredients

    1 cup steel cut oats
    2 cups Red River Cereal
    1/3 cup slivered almonds
    1/3 cup chopped dates
    1/3 cup chopped dried apricots
    1 apple chopped
    1 tsp cinammon
    6 cups water

Directions

10 servings, approx. 1 cup each
add ingredients to slow cooker, stir.
Cook on low for 6 hours.

Can be reheated, with a bit of water in the microwave.

    I really liked this, but I found it to be a bit dry. I think next time I will use 7 cups of water instead of 6. Good recipe. I will make it again. - 4/15/12
