Introduction
Full of nuts and dry fruits, low in fats and sodium, these bars are awesome. Don't be overwhelmed by ingredient list, many, many, substitutions can be made for the cereal, fruits and nuts. Ingredients

2 cup oats (quick cook or regular)
1 cup whole wheat flour
1 1/2 unsalted brown rice cakes (crushed) -or- any low sugar/sodium cereal
1/2 cup liquid egg
1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
1/4 cup honey
3 Tbs organic (or not) brown sugar
3 Tbs maple syrup
1/4 cup unsalted peanut butter (smooth)
1/4 cup raw sunflower seeds
1/4 cup raw pumpkin seeds
1/4 cup chopped pecans
1/4 cup slivered almonds
CAN USE ANY COMBO OF NUTS YOU PREFER AS LONG AS IT EQUALS 1 CUP
2 cups chopped dried fruit (your choice, I like dates,pineapple,cranberries and cantaloupe, or whatever you have on hand)
Directions
Preheat oven to 325
Line a 9x13 pan with foil and spray w/cooking spray
Add ingredients in the order listed, stirring as needed to mix gently.
Spread evenly in foil lined pan, pressing down with fingers.
Bake 30 min or until firm and slightly brown around edges.
Cool.
Lift foil from pan, cut into 18 equal bars and enjoy.
