Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    1 pound turkey sausage
    32 oz spaghetti sauce
1 lb low fat cottage cheese
1 lb light sour cream (could reduce this to 8 ounces)
Sliced mozzarella cheese, enough to cover top 3 times, I used Sargento Mozzarella deli style slices 11 per package and used 20 slices
    1/4 cup grated Parmesan Cheese
    1/4 to 1/2 cup water

Directions

Cook meat in skillet, drain fat and add spaghetti sauce. Simmer on low-medium heat.
Combine cottage cheese and sour cream in a medium bowl; blend well.
Spoon 1 1/2 cups of the meat sauce in bottom of 13x9 inch pan. Place 4 uncooked noodles on top of meat sauce, then 1/2 of the cottage cheese mixture, approx 6 slices of mozzarella cheese, 1/2 of the remaining meat sauce and sprinkle parmesan cheese on top. Repeat layers starting with the noodles. Top with remaining slices of mozzarella cheese. Pour water around the sides of the pan. Cover tightly with foil. Bank in preheated 350 degree oven for 1 hour. Uncover; bake 20 minutes more or until bubbly. Let stand 15 to 20 minutes. Makes 8 to 10 servings.
