Ingredients

    1.5 cup fresh squeezed lime juice
    1.5 cup fresh squeezed lemon juice
    2 cups Maker's Mark bourbon
    1 cup sugar
    3 cups (or to taste) water

Directions

Place one cup sugar and one cup water in a saucepan and bring to a low boil, reduce heat and let simmer for a few minutes until the sugar totally disolves. Cool completely and store in the fridge.

Squeeze and strain lemonds and limes. (Usually about 10 limes and 6 lemons). Pour juice in a large pitcher. Add water and simple syrup and bourbon to taste - I usually don't use all the water and syrup.
