I put this together with ingredients on hand and it turned out to be a tasty dish. It can be cooked in a crock pot or on the stovetop. I just added all the ingredients except the cabbage and cooked on low in a covered stockpot. I added the cabbage near the end of cooking time. This is good served on rice or barley.
