I have to admit that 529 calories for a slice of cake that is barely 1" wide (24 servings is a lot from a 8 or 9" cake) is not even in my sites, that would be a whole meal. I agree with Minnie, why is this a Spark recipe?
Minnie,I subbed out oil for applesauce and used eggwhites in loo of whole eggs. The substitions make the cake a bit more delicate but very moist.Also I used Splenda instead of sugar and sugar free frosting. Reduced fat and calories and everyone really enjoyed it even the
Kids.
