Nutrition & Calorie Comments

Too many calories! And there is no way you could stop at just one. I wish Sparkpeople did not tempt people with that kind of recipe...
These were delicious, My students didn't even know they were lower fat.
I decided not to make this...too many calories for someone as weak as I am and can't stop at just one.
Not for me too much sugar
I was baking for an event and this fit the bill and it was an excellent choice. The texture was delightful, I had to sample one. I have my own sugar cookie recipe but I haven't healthified it yet. Thanks!
Could you replace the sour cream with low fat Greek yogurt?
I left the icing off and just put a few green sprinkles on the cookies before I baked them. This saved 39 calories. At 103 calories each and much less sugar and carbs I was able to enjoy a few.
Another recipe that is mostly fat, sugar and simple carbs. Recipes like this are all over. I expect a site that is dedicated to weight control and better health to provide recipes that are somewhat nutritious. Deserts and holiday foods can include whole grains, nuts and fruits.
Not enough fiber or protein for me to use that many calories for one cookie. And too many left overs to have around the house. Too much temptation.
I love this Frosted Lofthouse-Style Sugar Cookies! YUMMY!!
These are as good as any cookie...
Way to many calories for my plan but to share with friends there good
Too many calories for me!
Sugar cookies are a real treat in the house. They are enjoyed frosted or plain. The ones my husband likes are the more crispy on the edges. The sour cream is a real taste changer.
This was a nice twist to a sugar cookie for the St. Patrick's Day get together at work. Went over well with all and although high in calories, it was delish. I, too used a sugar, low cal butter and salt substitute!
These may be low fat, but are still very high in sugar and carbs. Not a suitable recipe for a healthy living website -- and look who submitted the recipe!!
1 cup of butter and 2 cups of sugar????
My grandkids love these frosted sugar cookies this St. Patrick's Day!
I stopped baking all together... It makes me break out into fat!
These are delicious to bring to someone else's house for a party! Being diabetic, I need to use my calories a bit more wisely, it's just too easy to rack up the carbs and calories on this one! :-(
I have a very similar recipe and use I Can't Believe It's Not Butter and a sugar substitute. They are delicious.
