Everyone else loved this recipe... My fresh asparagus was very thin. Maybe I did not chop fine enough. I liked the high protein of this recipe. I only used 1 cup of asparagus and it was still plenty for two pieces of toast. It was too crunchy and all asparagus with a little cream sauce.
I've tried this with cheese sauce instead of cream sauce. It's wonderful - and you have the added benefit of getting your protein that way. My grandmother and I used to make this when asparagus was fresh and in season.
