Nutrition & Calorie Comments  

I add a large cinnamon stick to apples, no sugar. If I cook it less time I have applesauce and keep going and it turns a deep rich color of applebutter. I don't add any liquid. Makes it so easy to use the slow cooker for this. Mix of apples peeled, sliced, and I fill the crock full of apples.
i made it with regular brown sugar & added cinnamon. Loved it. Will make again.
Yum! I added a teaspoon of cinnamon. Very good but I think maybe a bit less of the brown sugar mixture next time. Thanks for sharing!
