Delicious, I used Swerve sweetener which measures the same as sugar, the beets came out perfect.
Awesome! I added juice of half a lemon and Fabulous! I missed havard beets but too rich and now without the brown sugar.butter. I can have them again! Thank you so much for posting!
Made them for my sister, a beet fan, and she was wowed. Didn't have any sugar substitute on hand, so I used 1/3 cup of the juice from a can of mandarin oranges. Love the heat, the textures, the pretty color and the playfulness in flavor juxtaposing the vinegar with the sweet beets.
