This is one of my favs, I use diet cherry coke with chocolate cake mix, a bundt pan once cake is mixed and in pan I spoon 1/2 can no sugar added cherry pie filling as it bakes the cherries sink 2 the middle moist and delicious without the guilt
i've made cake and cupcakes this way a lot and they really do turn out fabulous. to make them even more moist, you can add a packet of sugar-free pudding mix to the dry cake mix during the mixing stage. very tasty! no one ever believes how low the calories are!
I've tried this--a friend of mine made it for me--and it was so delicious! I didn't miss the fat and calories of regular frosting and cake.
