Love these! Fixed them for them for my lunch as part of my snack. So, much better than a sugar sweet.
So great and low in calories--a great dessert to top off a sandwich for lunch!
super easy to make. I halved mine and put it in a 8x8 glass idsh (with a lid) and then cut into 12 squares. Same net calories per serving but less temptation to eat more!
I love Rice Krispie treats, I add a different touch to them by adding Banana flavoring, no extra calories.
I divided mine up into 16 portions and they were 80 calories a piece. Really yummy and great for a treat!
This recipie gets 4 stars for the taste, however the calorie count is way off the recipe calculator shows 114 cals per serving...
Just to add more calories, chocolate smoothed on top add a bit extra for the school snack.
i have been looking for a recipe for healthy rice crispy treats!!! If they have some other type of samll cereal, I'll use wheat for an even better healthy kick. It'll add fiber, whole grains and more protein.
Rice Krispie treats are truly a treat in my house. So easy to make, and a relatively low calorie treat.
I'm not sure if this is Spark Diet appropriate; it can be found on any box of any crisp rice product, & it seems like a mild waste of calories that could be put to better use. Trade the marshmallows for a sweetener packet & the margerine for some fat free soy milk & now you're talking.
